Twenty-seven years after its inception,
NIAUSI is
becoming a member-supported organization.
In addition to supporting NIAUSI's mission in the
Pacific Northwest, members at certain donor levels
have the opportunity to stay at the Civita Institute
located in Civita di Bagnoregio.
THE CIVITA INSTITUTE
Located 60 miles north of Rome, the facilities
of the
Civita Institute are housed in several restored
buildings in the ancient center of Civita. The
Civita Institute fosters exploration of the
distinctive qualities of Italian hilltowns, their art,
architecture, and relevance to contemporary life.
