Each Civita Institute Fellowship has a specific application period during which applications may be submitted. These application periods will be noted within the description of each Fellowship on the Fellowship home page, here. You may also register to receive The Civita Institute's seasonal newsletters here for information delivered to your inbox about current Fellowship offerings and the open application period for each.

• To apply for a Creative Retreat Fellowship, download and complete the application, here.
• Complete the Visitor Conditions and Agreement Form, here.
• Describe how your Fellowship proposal responds to The Civita Institute’s Mission.
• Provide an abstract and a detailed description of your proposal plus your personal experience.
• Provide examples of your creative, literary, or research work that is relevant to your fellowship proposal.
• Describe a fellowship deliverable that you will provide for The Civita Institute's Archive and public communications.
• A statement of support.
• Membership in The Civita Institute as a Fellowship Applicant or Individual member.
